Application

There are five parts for a complete Application and all parts must be submitted by March 1st, 2025:

  1. Application form
  2. Counselor’s Evaluation;
  3. High School Transcript (which must show the cumulative GPA);
  4. SAT (Code: 0069) or ACT (Code: 6898) Report; and
  5. FSS (FAFSA Submission Summary, formerly called Student Aid Report) (see below).

Step 1: Please click here for the online Application form . You may fill in the form on your screen. You can stop and restart anytime until Step 2: when you hit the “submit” button when you are finished.  Step 3: Then forward the application to the guidance counselor of your high school by email. Request that the counselor complete the Evaluation online. When completed, the guidance counselor should email the Evaluation to us well in advance of March 1st.  Step 4: Print out a copy of your application for your records.

If you do not have access to a computer, please contact the Executive Secretary.

Early submission of the Application and supporting documents (including high school transcript, the SAT/ACT Reports and the FSS from FAFSA) is encouraged so that any omissions or questions can be resolved before the cut-off date of March 1st.  Applications not completed and received by that date will not be processed and Applications submitted on time but with information missing will score too low for interview selection.

FSS (FAFSA Submission Summary, formerly called Student Aid Report) is the report you receive when you complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online [www.fafsa.ed.gov]. As soon as your FASA Application is complete, you will be able to print out the FSS. Please upload it, or email it to us [secretary@mckeescholars.org], or mail it us right away.
